Generally speaking, ceramic cups are made of bone porcelain, magnesium reinforced porcelain, white porcelain and stoneware porcelain. Our most common ceramic cups are mainly made of white porcelain and reinforced porcelain.
Bone China contains cattle and sheep bone powder in the raw material. The fired product has good light transmittance, fine glaze and light green. Bone china is a high-grade material.
Reinforced porcelain is a medium and high-grade material second only to bone porcelain. The main raw materials are talc powder and feldspar powder, which are fired in an oxidizing atmosphere of 1350 ℃. The product is suitable for large temperature difference (between – 20 ℃ – 240 ℃), small deformation, high bending strength (220MPa), good thermal stability, wide firing temperature range (40 ℃), etc. its glaze is frit glaze with high gloss and good transparency, which makes the product have high whiteness, strong hardness, fine glaze surface and good transparency.
The main raw materials of white porcelain are kaolin, Pengyang porcelain stone powder, etc. the firing temperature is 1300 ℃, and the transparent glaze is the main glaze. The whiteness of the product is 88.1 degrees. It is a medium-grade material.
The main raw materials of stoneware porcelain are quartz powder and Mashan soil. The firing temperature is between 1180 ° C and 1270 ° C. The main glaze is milky white glaze or colored glaze, which is a medium-grade material.
